I would not

by Ginny
(York, SC)

I personally move to the next ad whenever I see send salary history in an advertisement. I would not (knowingly) work for an employer that requested salary histories. I feel an employer stating this in their advertisement is seeking the best employee for the least amount of money possible.

An employer that is so stingy to their employees and with their company's money is not an example of a company that I would want to be affiliated with in any kind of way.

I have suffered nothing bad because of this decision as far as I know. I don't accept employment positions unless they meet my salary requirements.

When I was interested in having a job, I seemed to always get one.
