Hi, I’m Shirley Ray, Employment Coach and Job Search Strategist.

I’m the “who” behind the content on this web site and my passion is empowering job seekers. I'm on a mission to teach people how to land jobs. Here’s why.

With extensive experience in corporate recruiting, professional recruiting and staffing agency ownership I've interviewed thousands and placed hundreds of job hopefuls with great companies. Over the years I've worked closely with hiring managers and executives at all levels in companies of all sizes sourcing new talent.

Along the way I was exposed to the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to hiring. I observed a multitude of talented individuals fail to get jobs for which they were qualified simply because they did not understand or know how to navigate the hiring process and execute a job winning employment campaign.

Some of these job seekers were new to the employment market and others hadn’t had to look for work in a long time. Their training or work experience, while informing their on-the-job competence, left these individuals ill prepared for the harsh realities existing in the employment market today.

With my understanding of how companies find, screen and select the talent they hire, I began coaching job hopefuls and along the way perfected my technique at leveraging job seekers into their next great opportunity.
